- Hand over the system
- Shut down the system
- Identify the appropriate shutdown procedure for operational and long-term shutdown conditions
- Collect, treat and dispose of or recycle waste generated by both the process and cleaning procedures
- Safely shut down the system according to workplace procedures and manufacturer's recommendations
- Prepare the system for storage in shutdown mode
- Identify and address operational maintenance requirements according to workplace procedures
- Contribute to continuous improvement of the system
